Summary
A man with sandy brown hair sat in an armchair, sipping from a mug. His clothing was conventional, which was a surprise. John expected a uniform, given the nature of the demand to see him in person. He stood as John entered. “Lord John Grey?”
“I am. What can I do for you, Mr….”
The man turned to a rucksack on the floor next to him and began to rummage through it. “Pardon, my Lord, one moment.” He pulled out a small bundle wrapped in brown paper, tied with twine, and a cream envelope tucked in on top.
He looked up and gazed quickly at John’s hands. John looked at them in reflex, and realized the man was looking at his signet ring. He stared back at the man. “You’re looking for confirmation, then? The word of the Fraser household isn’t enough?”

Summary

Summary
CaptainBonnet's Pictures of Us grabbed hold of me and wouldn't let me go. Definitely read that first before reading this. Peter Two, Peter Three and MJ have a sex-positive love-fest and process some trauma. There's more of this to come, it's just struggling to manifest on the screen.

Summary
Booker put his mug down as the silence lingered, and took a breath. “Well. I’ve been mulling it over for a while, and I think it’s time for me to get back to it.”
“What d’you mean, Book?” Joe asked around a mouthful of quiche. “Back to what?”
“Exile.”

And then, after stumbling into his apartment, he saw her.
“Booker. It’s nice to finally meet you.”
Things went to shit pretty quickly after that.

Summary
Joe is having a very taxing day.
In fairness, no one expects to begin the day by coming face-to-face with one’s lover’s estranged family, standing on the doorstep when one had been expecting the postman, or perhaps the drunk Frenchman from next door.
