Octavia and Raven both gasped, but it was Bellamy’s reaction that she found the most interesting. He didn’t say anything, didn’t look up from his book, or even alter his expression, but his hand balled into a fist on the arm of his chair.

Tommy pressed a finger to his chest. “Don’t act like you’re better than me. You are no different, Diaz.”
“Do not compare me with you.”
“Oh? And why not? Don’t act all high and mighty, Eddie, as if I don’t know that you want to fuck him just as much as I do.”
Eddie looked up, a little wide-eyed. He heard the sharp intake of a punctured breath from somewhere behind him but he decided Ravi came second right now. His hands flew out as he grabbed Tommy by the collar and snarled, “You take that back!!”
Apparently, Tommy had a death wish.
“At least, I’m trying to get him back, unlike you. You’re far worse than me for not holding onto something so important. Your son was far wiser than Evan. You’re going to ruin him as well but he’s too fucking stupid to run away from you like your son!”
That did it.
