Summary
That's why he was still here and not in a car to the plane out of Dubai. The opportunity for more was in front of him. More? Info? No. Armand can't be trusted to tell the truth. More of that golden brown skin, and the man who has been giving him half-hungry glances finally inviting him to touch it. A breath away from his body. The distance was closing.
Daniel stares at the wound on this pretty young throat. The blood drips onto the collar of the dusty shirt Armand still wore.
“Before it closes, Mr. Molloy,” Armand chides.

Summary
"I want you."
Armand floats off of Daniel, away from the lamplight. His attitude wavers. In the darkness, Armand's eyes illuminate. Daniel, reinvigorated, is compelled by the magnetic pull of his gaze. He thinks of the way a moth is drawn to lamp light.

Summary
Daniel Molloy knew he was taking a calculated risk when he seized the opportunity to interview the Vampire Louis in Dubai. What he didn't know was that it would end in him busting up a 77-year-long marriage.
When the incensed divorcee in question, the Vampire Armand, lashes out in anger, Daniel is pretty sure he's going to die. But now Daniel is a vampire too, and he can't figure out why the devil spared his life a second time. Louis thinks it was out of spite. But ever since his turning, Daniel has been having some pretty weird dreams. And historically, whenever Armand has shown up in Daniel's dreams they've turned out to be more than just dreams.
What happened between them after San Francisco? Well, what's one more memory wipe to a 514-year-old vampire?

Summary
"I know what a breakup looks like," Daniel says. "The better question is, why are you coming to me about it? I'm the one who broke up your little sham."
"This is what humans do, don't they?" Armand asks, letting his voice drop. "Crashing on their friends' couches when there's a blip in their romances?"
"Except we're not friends. We're actually very much not friends." Daniel shrugs, as if it's all the same to him. "And I can't imagine the great vampire Armand deigning himself to sleep on my fucked-up sofa. That thing's been here since the nineties."
"Well," Armand only says. "I saw you have a guest bedroom."

Summary
It’s starting to feel like this is not just about him feeling sorry for what happened earlier. Daniel says as much aloud, unable to help it even if it might mean shooting himself in the foot. Even if he might risk putting an end to this by giving it name.
“Hmm,” Rashid hums in feigned contemplation as he settles one knee on the bed beside Daniel’s hip. The index finger of his left hand dips underneath the sleeve of the older man’s cardigan. Runs along his pulse point, his veins. “What do you think it’s about, then?”
“No fucking clue,” he replies, his stare dragging up the line of Rashid’s throat, over the curve of his jaw, past his mouth and up to his eyes. The boy isn’t meeting his gaze, his lashes fluttering in the direction of Daniel’s wrist. His lips are parted slightly. He looks—he looks.
He looks horny. Wrecked. Devastatingly pretty.
Rashid huffs an airy laugh. “Liar.”

Summary
Daniel Molloy’s not dead yet — but he’s running up real close to it. The rapid progression of the disease inspires him to try and reconnect with his daughters, after years of little to no contact. However, one last obstacle has been placed in the way of rekindling the relationship with his youngest: a new boyfriend for her, and a familiar face for Daniel. A grief he’d hoped to have left behind three years prior.
[…]
The other man, whose face Daniel couldn’t see hidden as it was against the boy’s neck, mouth feverishly working at the skin, had him cornered against the tiles. One veined hand held the boy’s wrist up by the side of his head, grasping with unnecessary strength.Daniel’s mouth had gone suddenly desert dry, as an alarming voice blared between his ears: Either get on with it or get up and out. Still, he couldn’t move. He couldn’t risk alerting them to his presence—why?
He understood now in hindsight that he’d been hesitant because, at least subconsciously, Daniel had known he was witnessing a scene put on just for him.
