Zima wonders, if it was someone other than Rosa, would she still be okay with it?
She doesn't like Rosa, that much is obvious—it's just that there's a mutual trust that brings them together. She doesn't think that Rosa would stab her in the back at a moments notice, even though that trust is against her better judgement. Zima wouldn't be sitting on anyone else's bed at god knows what hour, sipping on tea and pouring out her heart; or at least, pouring it out as much as someone as emotionally stunted as she is can (and, for that matter, she's always thought pouring your heart out was much too pleasant of a euphemism for something that felt like being on the receiving end of a faulty Heimlich maneuver).
