seokjin loves his mother, but it's a good thing that he doesn't live home anymore, and that there are miles separating them. while seokjin's mother doesn't approve of her son's lonely life of a workaholic, seokjin, on the other hand, doesn't appreciate her constant attempts to set him up on blind dates with strangers that aren't even his type. so for her (but mostly his) peace of mind, seokjin blurts out that he's already seeing somebody. what's a little lie, right?
however, things get complicated when seokjin's mother comes to visit him for a few days, but especially when she meets jeongguk: a temporarily homeless photographer crashing at seokjin's couch, although they barely know each other. but most importantly: his alleged, but totally fake, boyfriend.

Summary
Jeon Jungkook is perfect. Tall, sun-kissed and gorgeous, He's obsessed with high school popularity as much as high school is obsessed with him.
As one of the only openly gay kids in their year and a bit of a loner, Kim Seokjin is in the very minute minority who isn't.
In public they barely look at each other. But in the backs of empty classrooms and storage cupboards, they know each other a little more closely than what first meets the eye.
(Alt: the friends with benefits to best friends to lovers cliche, except make it British, slap in the use of humour to compensate for the emotional destitution and bon apetit.)
