Summary
As she turned from the kitchen to face her daughter, she was greeted by the sight of a young disheveled Miqo’te - dirt upon her clothes, her pigtailed braids coming undone, a light bruise upon her cheek.
“Young miss, what happened here?”
Rosaline looked up at her, responding, “Mom, are we a real family?”
After getting into another fight with the kids in town, Rosaline's mother imparts some words of wisdom onto the young Miqo'te, leaving her with an important - and lifelong - lesson.

Summary
It’s not as though other disciplines had come to her with any ease. When she first applied at the Archer’s Guild, she needed to practice day and night, relentless in her training, pushing her limits until she was capable of going toe-to-toe with her peers - and ultimately succeeding in becoming one of the finest the God’s Quiver had ever seen.
But she feared that she was fated to lose to this one godsdamned spell.
Rosaline struggles with mastering the latest spell in her book, leaving her no choice but to ask Martyn himself for guidance.

Summary
His eyes meet hers for a brief moment, before gazing longingly across her body. He quickly looks away and laughs again, “You’re feelin’ it too, aren’t you?”
Oh Martyn please don’t do this, don’t make me admit it, she practically begs aloud.
What should have been a run-of-the-mill acquisition of a blue mage spell goes awry when Martyn and the Warrior of Light get caught unaware by their very quarry - and fall under the alluring effects of the spell themselves.

Summary
Of course, Oboro could have found the information some other way. He could have captured Aismurl and threatened him with all manner of horrors until he coughed up the information through bloodied teeth, or had his Upright Thieves friends do if he was too squeamish to do it himself. But Oboro had come to Karasu to ask for help…Karasu, with no loyalty to his home village but plenty of loyalty to his own desires.
One could practically claim that counted as Oboro asking for it.
Karasu, in his guise as Limsa's information broker, indulges both Oboro's need for aid and his own need to put Oboro in interesting sexual situations.

Summary
Guydelot chuckles, which is infuriating. Sanson feels like he should maybe be a little more polite given that he’s standing in front of a man with a seven-fulm spear, but he lets the frustration pass. “Now, now, is anything only as it appears on first glance?”
“Yes,” he says, punctuating it with a stab at the training dummy that makes Guydelot jump. “For instance, you look like a twat, and have rightfully proven yourself to be one.”
“O, you wound me,” mock-sobs the bard. “Twat or not, I do have a particularly volatile lead that begs investigation. And enough respect for you, my little lancer, to let you lead the way.”

Summary
“Because of that head injury,” Sanson said, staring at the clouds they were passing, “I have…a hard time remembering things. Big details are fine but it’s little things. It’s like they slide right off my brain, no matter how hard I’m trying to hold on to them.”
Following a concussion during a Twin Adder mission, Sanson's short-term memory is not what it use to be. But he's figured out how to live with it – he keeps a journal to ensure he doesn't forget anything important.
