The owner of the voice started softly, then backtracked on his words and tried again. "Are you... Do you need help? Are you okay?"
Numbness had already spread throughout his arms and chest, a dulling symptom of his panic attacks, but the lightest bit of pressure came off of Yoongi's heart.
He cleared his throat. "I'm okay, thank you."

Summary
Namjoon froze, feeling that something just wasn't right. His grandmother had taught him that animals were always much more intuitive than humans were, as when the spirits and angels she'd spoken to arrived, any animal in sight would either quiet itself or hide away. He blinked in the shade of the trees, straining his eyes to look for any minor change in scenery.
When it came, it came with a wail.
A young buck, horns still small, came stumbling out of the trees on the horizon. Namjoon watched as it tripped on an underlying branch, crying out in a shrill sound of pain. Its fur was matted on one side with what looked to be dried blood, and before he could even think to back away, Namjoon found himself running towards it.

"Yes, I--" He started, breath catching when the man reached out to touch his neck, his large fingers splaying out across his pulsepoint. Jimin could barely find his voice. "...I'm Jimin," he found himself saying shyly, confident teacher facade long gone at the sudden show before him.
The hybrid tilted his head, eyes still glued to the skin below his palm. "Ji...min," he crooned, face serious. "Jim... Jimin."
Tears were suddenly springing to the corners of the said boy's vision, a happy smile breaking out on his lips. "Yes. Jimin."
A moment of silence passed, time being forgotten as the two sat in contentment, the hybrid happy to trace along the other's body and the latter trembling for reasons unknown, overcome with emotion at cracking the other.
The next words made his breath stutter, his fingers clenching at his sides.
"Jimin," the hybrid murmured. "Mate?"

Yet the self-proclaimed bouncer residing stubbornly inside the door only shook his head. "He just isn't feeling well. Told me that he doesn't want any visitors."
