“The master mentioned that you were looking to get mated soon,” Sabito says, and Sanemi is instantly on the offensive because that’s just who he is as a person and swordsman. “He said you’re looking for a mate, a wife.”
Yes, Sanemi did tell the master that, but he didn’t think the master was going to mention it to the other Hashira. Well, not like he cares anyway. He just hates when other people know his business aside from the master, that’s all.
“What about it?” Sanemi asks, a little irritated and still a whole lot defensive.
Sabito, despite Sanemi’s bad attitude, smiles, always one to try and keep the peace like Kyojuro. His scent stays calm, and Sanemi doesn’t understand how he manages to do that all the damn time. He really is the ideal alpha, unlike Sanemi.
“I might know someone for you,” Sabito confesses. “Someone who’s looking for a mate as well, a husband.”
or, Sanemi is seeking a wife, and Sabito is more than ready to assist.

Summary
Sanemi is banished to the Swordsmith Village for a month as punishment for fighting. He doesn’t expect to find much in the village, and as soon as his sword is fixed, he’s leaving and not looking back. Fate is quick to let him know that he couldn't have been more wrong.
