Summary
Kim Seungmin is a simple dog-hybrid beta who just wanted some peace in his Seoul apartment.
But then there’s Bang Chan, his wolf-hybrid alpha neighbor, whose only "flaw" is being absurdly charming and constantly flirting with the beta, leaving him flustered. Not that he minded it just left him confused and even shyer around the alpha.
The two of them engage in a sort of silent dance, neither daring to take the next step at least, not until a morning of uncontrollable rut breaks all the rules.

“Yeah, you are,” Chan agrees, thumping him on the back. “You’re cute, Seungminnie,” he says, his eyes squinting as he smiles fondly at him. “Like a puppy, right?” he asks, patting Seungmin on the head like a dog.
“I’m not a dog,” he protests, but he fears it comes out garbled.
“Seungmin, paw,” Chan says, and in his haze, he manages to place his hand in Chan’s. “Good boy.”
Or: Puppy love, if the puppies were also super gay and kind of in denial about the whole thing.

And at last he thinks he realizes what his problem is, the plug stoppering his genuine happiness at Chan discovering a new part of himself.
“Why wasn't I your gay awakening?” he asks.
