Test Tube wouldn't say that she was 'parental', Gods no, she would never say that, but...Seeing Poppy alone the night after the first challenge triggered something in her, something she hadn't felt since Bot was 'younger'...She felt a bit...protective, especially with the uptick on Toilet's...unusual behaviour.
OR
Test Tube and Fan adopt Poppy and Toilet gets violent and beats a teen who mildly resembles Steve Cobs. Also...*places down all my trauma and issues and gives them to Poppy* ...This is why that's there *points at the age regression tag.* (Also Bot.)

Summary
THIS FIC HAS BEEN ABANDONED!! My interests have found other spaces and I will not finish this ever.
This story is split between Fan and Bot's prospective (switching for each chapter), this is an AU of the scenario "What if Fan missed and Test Tube died?" from season 4, episode 1 of Inanimate Insanity.
As Fan desperately tries to find a way to bring Test Tube back from the dead, Bot is desperately trying to move on and forget their Mom's death.
They will do anything to get what they want, they are desperate, haunted by the permanent death of their loved one.This is my first fanfic, so I'll probably update this inconsistently. The bigger the gap between updates, the more writing for a chapter I've most likely done.
