Summary: Danny Fenton has been a member of the Justice League for years now, helping with countless world-ending crises and stopping interdimensional threats, as the hero Phantom. Throughout the years his fellow-members have seen him as the Ghost King that could reign control over the dead, as the undead ghost that could total a city if he pleased, and as the small-town vigilante that’s become the League’s cavalry in dire circumstances.
Throughout the years, Phantom has kept his identity a secret, not due to lack of trust, but to balance a sense of normalcy in his haphazard life. Yet, certain circumstances result in the walls Phantom has so carefully built to slowly be torn down brick-by-brick, revealing that regardless of the gruesome abilities Danny possessed, he was still a teenage boy who had died.
OR; A collection of the Justice League learning more and more about Phantom, until they finally meet Danny Fenton.

Summary
Although he was now king of an entire realm, Danny silently took interest in the spirit of the person who entered the realm of the dead as a child, but left it as a shell of a man. Countless nights passed where Danny found himself watching him from his place in the afterlife, watching in awe how he managed to dance so dangerously with death, even after experiencing it once before. When the glowing light of the soul begins to flicker, Danny knows better - he knows he isn’t to meddle in the lives of the living, especially the souls of those meant to return to him. But he can’t help but feel guilt over how the man hadn’t been able to rest in death or life. So, he does what he told himself he gave up on years ago: he leaves the Ghost Zone, rushing to make sure the man does not find himself entering the realm of the dead prematurely, once again.
OR: Danny had given up being Phantom after a catastrophe in Amity, vanishing in the Ghost Zone to hone in on his countless responsibilities as the king of the undead. But when the spirit of Jason Todd begins to fade once again, Danny can’t help himself from wanting to avoid repeating the ordeal.
