Hongjoong whips around to look at his boyfriend, but Seonghwa has his face turned towards the car window, having dozed off.
Stupid, Hongjoong thinks furiously, directing all his anger at the back of Seonghwa’s head. I love you, too.
Five times Seonghwa says I love you to Hongjoong; and one time Hongjoong finally says it back.

Summary
Seonghwa leans over and kisses Hongjoong’s forehead before slipping out of bed.
It’s awful, sometimes, waiting at home alone at midnight when his husband promised he’d be home by eleven. Awful falling asleep alone. But no where near as awful as not having Hongjoong at all.
Seonghwa prepares for his day diligently. He runs on the treadmill, showers, eats a quick breakfast, dresses and is out the door for his first meeting by nine. He leaves a note on the fridge.
“Free between noon and 1:30. Call me if you’re up.”

Seonghwa and Hongjoong go through a week of mismatched schedules and missing each other terribly.
