He kind of hated how everything seemed to keep coming back to him, from heartbreak to success and everything else in between, every facet of every part of Mark's life in the twenty odd years since they'd first met.
But if Tom was his Groundhog Day, then maybe all paths did keep leading back to him for a reason. Maybe it was up to Mark to figure out how to break the cycle, whether he wanted to or not.
Or,
Mark falls asleep in 2014 after blink-182 breaks up for the second time and wakes up in 1994.
