Summary
Lighter pulls away the last layer of wrapping to stare, speechless, at the new engine shining up at him in Enzo’s garage.
“I know it’s past New Year’s now,” Wise says. “I wasn’t able to get it ready in time due to being caught up with the Bangboo contest and getting Fairy’s electricity bill paid, but I hope you like it.”
“Wise, this is… for me?” the biker says, taking his shades off and sounding dazed.
In which Wise has a belated New Year gift for Lighter. Established Lighter/Wise, set after events of 1.4 (Miyabi, Bringer arc) and 1.5 (Astra-nomical New Year patch). Enzo and Jane Doe appear for the sole reason of embarrassing Wise =D Meant to be a New Year special IRL, but takes place after it in-game.

“With all due respect, Boss, I can survive not seeing my boyfriend for a bit,” Lighter tells her, though the confetti of unsaid words are raining in front of him again. He adds, “And I’m not moping.”

Summary
“Lighter, Wise said you liked the noodles at Lumina Square. You should try the noodle shop just in front of ours before you head back! Maybe Wise can take you.”
“Are you secretly helping General Chop promote a new menu?” Wise asks, scrutinizing her awfully blinding grin through a frown. “And I just ate there yesterday with Ben, so I’m good.”
“Ben’s a good friend of ours,” Belle tells Lighter quickly. “He’s a bear.”
“Uh. Cool…?” says Lighter.
“Anyway, once you’re done with Lighter’s tapes why don’t you two go hang out together!” She gives Wise a look.
“I’m still watching the shop, though?”
The look hardens. “Yes, but business is slow today.”
In which Belle is convinced her brother and Lighter should get together, and rope the ladies of the Sons of Calydon into setting them up. Wise is convinced he isn't, in fact, dating the Champion, until suddenly he is.

“Oooooh you think he didn't dodge it because he wants Mr Wolfy here to feel bad and fawn over him?” Burnice exclaims, voice pitching high and crystal clear over Vivian's hushed whispers that turn into frantic shhhhs as the younger Mockingbird tries to slap a palm over her new biker friend’s unruly mouth.
“Is that so,” says Lycaon flatly, and presses the ice pack over Hugo's face with more force than is probably necessary.
“Now, now, Vivian,” says Hugo, wincing away from Lycaon's aggressive nursing. “Didn't we make a deal about secrets. You don't tell Lycaon my cunning plan to seduce him again, and I don't tell your darling Proxy about that recent Phaethon cosplay photo collection you just purchased on Inter-Knot.”
“What photos now?” says Lighter as Vivian’s face bursts into flames amidst adamant squeaks of denial.
