Summary
he has never extended himself for what he wants. there is a person for every question. there is a chef to handle an exotic food craving, an advisor to schedule a luxury travel plan, a servant to send on a petty errand. each person is nameless and nothing is out of reach. there is no line between want and need.
his knight is a fixture, stuck to the rules and him like glue when scheduled to guard his bedroom door or the hall outside of his study or the garden gate when scara chooses to take a breath of fresh air. at first, they were like a fly – ever present even when waved away – but now, scara struggles to raise his hand to dismiss them.
there is a sensory experience he is seeking that he is not dextrous enough to catch between his fingers.

Summary
“You don’t think it’s that easy, do you?” said Madam Meiyin, failing to entirely hide her smile behind the gauzy green sleeve of her robe as her eyes glittered with delight. “The aphrodisiac may have cooled in your meridians, but that’s only temporary. To get rid of it entirely, you’ll still need to satisfy your... urges.”
Shen Qingqiu and Liu Qingge find themselves at the mercy of a PIDW-style sex plot.

Summary
Ah , Shen Yuan thinks with a satisfied nod as he eyes the man. The straight way he carries himself, with his sharp eyes and thin lips, sharp cut of his jaw and slender neck, the slight dip in his hip, peerless in every right. He’d long since been curious about the kind of man worthy of capturing the heart of a beautiful woman like Liu Mingyan — not like, in a creepy way, but he has eyes and he’s allowed to be curious!! Even with her veil, Shen Yuan can tell she’s stunning!! — and the answer surprises him not in the slightest.
The man — Liu Qingge, if he is truly who Shen Yuan thinks he is — could have told him he’d walked straight off a runway preparing for Fashion Week and Shen Yuan would never have questioned it. The unparalleled beauty! Of course this is Liu Mingyan’s husband.
