Summary
Adalind leaves for a weekend trip with Rosalee and Trubel, confident that between Nick, Sean, and Meisner, the kids will be fine.
They are not fine.
They are fed, loved, mostly supervised, and technically unharmed but the house runs on caffeine, improvised schedules, and increasingly frantic group decision-making. Emmerson refuses to sleep, Kelly asks questions no one is prepared for, Diana observes everyone like a tiny emotional auditor, and Monroe stops by long enough to confirm that Adalind is, in fact, the linchpin holding reality together.
By the time Monday arrives (and Adalind’s flight does not), the guys have learned many important lessons chief among them: confidence is not a substitute for backup.
