Summary
Trapped in your family's poverty, you were forced into a suffocating marriage with the overzealous Grand Master from Mondstatdt. Fleeing your wedding rehearsal in panic, you made a bitter, mock vow in a desolate cemetery.
And the silence answered your quiet lament.
Inspired by Tim Burton's "Corpse Bride" and The Unequal Marriage, 1862. Vasili Pukirev.Bookmarked by buwun

Summary
He sucks in a sharp, stinging breath. This eerie silence is uncomfortable. He fears the word that comes out of her mouth next. It won’t be the first time he’s heard it. Not why or what’s wrong, but,
“Who...” Somewhere in his mind, he hears a clock rewinding. A finality. A rebirth.
“Who are you.” Expressionless. A guillotine drops over his neck. He swallows, choking on the weight of it.
He should be used to this, yet, it still kills him a little more each time he has to repeat,
“I’m Caleb. Your older brother. And I’ll always be by your side.”
Letting people disappear is easy, sure. But keeping her is infinitely difficult.

Summary
When your kingdom falls, you expect death—not devotion.
When the kingdom fell and the crown turned to ash, all that remains is your knight, Phainon. A hand offered without hesitation. A fire lit to keep you warm. A look that lingers just a moment too long.
And though the world hunts you, there is safety in his arms.
There's something else, too... Love, perhaps.
Or, at the very least, something dangerously close.
