Summary
Sonic was homeless. He stole for fun and to afford things, although he just stole whatever he wanted. The guards of the Empire were constantly on his tail. That was, before he met Tails.
Tails was his motivation. He finally got an apartment so that Tails wouldn't have to be homeless. He wanted to give his adopted brother a good life, although any life would have been better than what Tails originally had. Sonic continued stealing, but for good reason now. Tails was glad that Sonics met a friend, Amy, who he tried to steal from before, and is fascinated with a strange rock they'd found.He's lived in Ritherhithe with Tails for two months now. He's gotten sneakier with stealing. Unfortunately, not sneaky enough, as guards once again show up to take him. The duo find themself in a new, small, peaceful town. A tightly knit community that rely on each other, farming, and trading.
Tails finds it easy to learn to farm, and Sonic simply enjoys talking to the people of the town. Their life has gotten perfect again. But what happens when the pretty rock turns out to be a dragon egg, and the Empire is set on killing him and his dragon?
And when a pretty stranger he befriends turns out to be the heir of the Empire?
