Summary
Soap was the only person to notice that Ghost skipped breakfast.
He doesn’t question it, though, knows better than that, but he does keep it in the back of his mind. It’s easy to rationalise, though – it’s likely something Ghost had to do, decided to just eat on the go or skip and have a bigger lunch.
However, he does especially notice how Ghost didn’t come to warmups. How he skipped drills, debrief, lunch.
OR
Ghost goes into heat, and Soap helps him through it.

“What do you need?” Ghost asked.
“Just your scent,” Soap said.
That hurt some, the knowledge that Soap only wanted him for this. But if this was the extent of Soap’s need for him, Ghost wouldn’t argue. Would sit there and behave as Soap fucked himself on his knotting toys, would let him break the heat like that.
Because Soap could have gone to any alpha on base. Could have flashed that pretty scent and had any one of them lining up to help.
But he hadn’t.
