Summary
On the Day of High Sun, the Word Eater comes to the Last University. It asks for a volunteer. Hadrian agrees, and in severing its head he seals his fate. It's a simple tragedy: he will receive the same blow as he gave the Word Eater, and he will not walk away from it so easily.
