Summary
Frank is the Timekeeper: master of every second, forbidden from stopping the clock. Melissa is the Spacewalker: keeper of every distance, forbidden from staying in one place.
They are also forbidden from each other.
But in the spaces between time and distance, they find each other's letters: arriving out of order, answering questions not yet asked, building a bond that exists outside of sequence and raising the question: were the rules created to protect reality or to prevent it from healing?

Summary
Frank Langdon is not one to believe in fairy tales. He is too much of a cynic to believe in good people, true love, happy endings, or anything of that sort, really.
Then, he meets Rapunzel at his daughter’s Tangled-themed birthday party.
I mean, it can’t get more ironic than that, can it?

Summary
The invitation tumbled from his lips before he could process it, before his brain could tally the risks or second-guess the leap. “Mel,” he said, his voice dropping to a very soft, deliberate murmur. “Do you want to stay awhile? I mean, the fireworks are about to start.”
Her eyes lit up with tentative surprise, wide and shimmering under the bright overhead light. “Really?”
“'Course,” Frank replied, as easily as breathing. His smile was steady now, warm as the promise of the show to come, even as his heart hammered against his ribs. “Wouldn’t want you to miss them.”

Summary
“My wise one, are you trying to seduce me with your divine charms?” He leaned back, his calloused hand cupping William’s cheek, thumb brushing over the soft skin. The touch was tender, but Michael’s breath hitched into a whine when William leaned into it.
“Seduce you? Oh, my brave paladin, as if I need to try,” William teased, tilting his head with feigned innocence, even as his cheeks hollowed around Michael’s fingers, his tongue circling them in slow, torturous swirls. Michael was transfixed. With a loud, lewd pop, William looked him over, eyes lingering on the mouth-watering trail of hairs down his navel to the equally salivating bulge straining his trousers, then said, “Look at you. I have yet to let you kiss me, and you’re already powerless.” To add to his teasing, he raised both of his hands, shrugging, “Not a book of spells in sight.”

Summary
“Mel,” Parker whispered, her tone dropping to a serious rumble that sounded sultry and invincible, but also deliciously defenseless and vulnerable. The air around Mel thickened with unspoken heat. “Baby, you can’t say things like that.”
“Like what?” Mel asked, the playfulness in her tone doing a good job of masking the breathlessness that came with it. She tipped her head to the side as if Parker could see the coy tilt of her lips.
“Like you want to start things,” Parker replied, her words slow and deliberate, a teasing edge in them that hinted at the restraint she was barely holding onto.
“Maybe I want to start things,” Mel said, her voice gaining confidence, a soft giggle bubbling up as she shifted beneath the sheets. The fabric of Parker’s shirt seemed to burn against her skin.
“Is that so?” Parker breathed, the question hanging heavy. Mel could picture her so clearly: a single eyebrow raised in a mix of challenge and invitation, eyeing her down with her mouth agape, making Mel swallow hard.
“Yes,” Mel whispered back, eyes fluttering and all.
