Summary
A month ago, Kaveh appeared, disrupting Alhaitham’s quiet life and became his roommate. In less than a week, Kaveh left the house in anger. When he returned, it was the night of Alhaitham’s birthday. A year later, Alhaitham will celebrate his birthday again. This is a story that takes place within the span of a year and a few months. A story where Kaveh finds a grandmother’s unfinished wish, completes it for her grandson, and finds love again.
“It was my birthday.” Haitham replied, pouring more coffee into his cup to the halfway mark.“You bought yourself a cake?” Kaveh said, touching his mouth suddenly. He remembered how it tasted - that cake - all honey and richness, the slight fragrant crunch of pistachios still lingering in his mouth like a faint dream. “You did not eat it…”

Al-Haitham feels his lips pull up into a smile.
In retrospect, starting a philosophical argument in the margins of an ancient poetry book might be one of the best ideas Al-Haitham has ever had.

Summary
A while has passed since Kaveh became Alhaitham's roomate, and they have settled into their life together comfortably. Or at least, as comfortably as you can while living with someone like -him-.
When one drunken mistake causes them to unexpectedly get closer, more mistakes end up happening every day, teasing the tension of their long unresolved conflict from their Akademiya days.
