"You've been avoiding me," James stated, his voice low and dangerous. He stepped closer, invading Sirius's personal space until their chests nearly touched.
"I've been busy," Sirius replied, his voice barely above a whisper. He could feel James's breath against his cheek, warm and possessive.
James's hand shot out, gripping Sirius's jaw with bruising force to make him look up at James in the eyes. "Busy avoiding me, you mean." His thumb stroked the sharp line of Sirius's cheekbone. "You're my star, Sirius. My everything. You don't get to avoid me."

“Mad? Mad?” Lily snarled, “of course I’m bloody mad you let this—this nasty little tart into our wedding…bed…” She trailed off, staring woman’s mouth, which twitched at the corners in an undeniably familiar way—the exact way Sirius’ mouth twitched when he was trying to hold back laugher. She drew in a sharp breath and noticed three important things she had missed her in her initial rage.
Firstly, the woman had eyes the exact same shade of grey as Sirius’, large and luminous in her fine-boned face. Secondly, her hair fell in familiar dark curls over her shoulders, and spread out like ink over the pillows. Third and most damningly, she had Sirius’ exact tattoos on her chest and arms, except now the runes curled between two small, pert breasts.
“Sirius?” Lily said incredulously.
”Yes, my Lily-flower?” Sirius replied, and if Lily had any doubt left, the wide, shit-eating grin that spread over her—his?—face wiped it clean away.
