    Until he realizes whose character design he's been assigned: Lucerys "Velaryon", bastard prince and the most unfortunate plot device to have ever plot device-ed, who is also the trigger point for the war and dies horribly in every ending of the game. Not just that, his overall character design, to be frank, is useless. The guy has no special talent for anything except for pissing certain people off and hiding cowardly behind his privilege.

    In fact, Luke isn't surprised that the first to get offed in the diplomatic phase of war via dragon 'chomp!' is a dude like Lucerys Velaryon.
