Victor tried to move on past the death of his Poet friend, but he had never been able to open the letter he had been gifted. His reasoning for becoming a postman was to see the happiness people could gift each other - to wash away the grief he would feel when opening his first letter. And yet, he had promised himself, that this would be the first letter he read. He just didn't want to let go. He didn't know that he had been holding on to the Poet's last poem.

Reminded him of the way he smiled whenever he reminded Makoto that things would be okay.
It was a crushing, radiating tranquility that buzzed and beeped and slammed so many terrifying feelings of absolute pure joy that made Makoto wonder if this was what it felt like to be in love.
