    It’s embarrassing to admit, and thankfully Aseah wasn’t planning to, but he’s grown fond of moments like this — him and Dongrang sitting on their worn but comfortable couch, eating freshly prepared dinner, Dongrang’s cat sometimes passing by and getting some good head pats and chin rubs from them both — he always purrs loudest when he receives them from Dongrang, Aseah noticed — and enjoying themselves in their shared presence. It felt like… home. He looked forward to coming home; to seeing Dongrang; to eating his food and sharing those moments with him.
