Summary
Vantacrow huffs, slightly offended. “Stupid? I don’t think I sounded stupid. I actually think my arguments were pretty smart, Zali.”
Another stupid sentence. He was popping them out like a machine.
“Dr. Vezalius.” The black haired man corrected. “Only people that I like can call me that and I don’t like you.”
“Mmm, I don’t think that’s entirely true. You’re talking to me right now, aren’t ya?” The blond crooned, resting his chin on his palm with a dumb grin. “I think you like me.”

After losing everything's he's ever loved, Vezalius tries to drag himself further in life, and Vantacrow is a stone on the path he doesn't mind stumbling on.

Summary
“Do you want me to leave?”
Vantacrow’s grip turns vise-like. Vezalius welcomes the hurt.
“No,” he exhales sharply, starting to shake his head before wincing at the motion and stopping himself. Vantacrow looks back up at Vezalius with the same expression that he’d worn while on his knees, weeping on the floor of the house that had once been their home. “Stay. Please.”
And because Vezalius’s an idiot, a glutton for punishment, as defenseless as he’s ever been with Vantacrow looking at him like that, he does.

Vantacrow has the award for being the worst at handling needles. Perhaps his predicament would have been kinder to him if his tattoo artist wasn't so hot.
