Summary
The house was a towering, Victorian home, hiding amid a copse of trees at the end of a long, winding lane through the countryside. When the car rolled around the final curve in the road and the darkened edge of the house oozed suddenly into view, the sight of it struck them all quiet in the middle of their planning.
Lucy felt a cold anticipation spill through her; not something drawn from her senses, but something wholly internal.
“It certainly looks the part,” Lockwood said after they had hauled their things out of the car and parted ways with the driver. The house loomed in front of them. It was a combination of rust-coloured brick and dark wooden wainscotting, the kind that is going for a rich, burgundy brown and ends up reading closer to dried blood.
“Personally, I think it’s a bit cliche when haunted houses look haunted,” George said. “Would it kill them to slap some colour on it?”
“Maybe that’s how the original owner died, the one who actually lived here,” Lucy jumped in. “Livening up the paint job.”

Summary
“No,” she says through her teeth. “I don’t want the antidote. I want — ”
“Not trying to give you the antidote,” he cuts across quickly. He’s pretty sure he’s going to rupture a blood vessel if she continues that sentence. “Just — how about my fingers? You want my fingers?”

Summary
She plucks the piece of paper which apparently contains her own life information on it off of the pinboard, and carefully studies the few words written there.
“So, I’m Nancy Drew,” she reads out loud. “Apparently I’m a ‘problem solver’ and ‘have a good memory,’ and then it says ‘except for now’ in brackets.” She squints at the sheet of paper. “There’s something else there, but it’s been scribbled out.”
The man standing on her other side — the one with the flouncy hair and the green jacket with the white collar — leans in to look over her shoulder.
“Um, it looks like it says, ‘maybe dating Ace,’ with a question mark.”

When the Drew crew all lose their memories fighting a Viking God, some things get lost in translation. A 2x11 fic with a twist.

Summary
The image of just what Lockwood is doing mere metres from her flashes vivid in her mind again — except this time her brain has filled in the details, taken the glimpse she got through the crack of the closet door and expanded the view so she’s picturing the whole of it: Lockwood’s body stretched luxuriously out on his bed, his head probably thrown back into a pillow, legs tensing and relaxing, his hand moving in an unhurried stroke up and down.
(or: lucy hides in lockwood's closet so she doesn't get caught snooping around in his room. she didn't expect him to start jerking off.)

Summary
It’s so hot in the room that at first he can’t isolate what part of it has woken him up. As he comes back to his body slowly, the heat clarifies into two problems.
Problem number one: Lucy is pressed all along his left side, face in his shoulder, her arm around his waist and one of her legs tossed over his hips.
Problem number two: Lockwood is hard. Like, painfully hard. The kind of hard that would normally have him shoving his hand into his pyjama bottoms half asleep to bring himself off in three tight pulls. A solution which is nowhere near possible right now because of problem number three (there’s always extra problems when Lucy is around):
Lucy’s thigh — the one slung over his legs — is pressing right against Lockwood’s cock.

Summary
“So, we’re both unattached. Good to know.”
“Right,” Nancy says. “And I’m planning to remain that way, even after…”
“No, yeah,” he says. “I got that, loud and clear. Happy to be of service for the night.”
She steps in close, hand landing on his hip. “You’re sweet.”
He nods. “I believe the words ‘boyish’ and ‘earnest’ got tossed around.”
“Okay,” she says, fisting the fabric of his shirt. “That’s enough talking now.”

Summary
“They’ve been fighting a lot recently, huh?” She eventually exhales and he can feel the guilt of the last few months simmering, rolling off her in slow, mournful waves. The Aglaeca, the shroud, Odette, all things Nancy resolutely claims responsibility for and drags around with her like she carried the Wraith all those months. “How long do they normally last?”
He shrugs.
She tilts her head at him. “Want to crash at mine?”
Or; Ace crashes at the Drew household after being kicked out and Bess becomes a third wheel roommate (she's not mad about it).

Summary
“You should talk to Nick!” Bess is hastily pushing napkins across the booth to George.
Nancy watches as a lock of hair slips from behind Ace’s ear, drifting over his forehead to curl above one eyebrow. Her fingers twitch around her glass of soda, the muscle memory from the ghost of a life never lived reminding her how easy it would be to reach out and push it back-
“What would I say?” George wails next to her, trying to catch her running eyeliner with crumpled napkins stained with Bess’ strawberry daiquiri spills.
“That you love him.” Nancy answers, not fully realising she’s saying it out loud, words aimed at the top of Ace’s head, at the curve of hair bobbing in front of his eyes.
Or; every curse has its loopholes and Nancy never did learn to leave well enough alone.

Summary
“You have a collect call from the Hampden County Correctional Center. Do you accept the charges?”
It’s mid-morning on a dreary Monday and Nancy leans against her kitchen wall with a sigh, wondering if she’ll ever have the kind of life where she doesn’t routinely get surprise jailhouse calls.
Then she recognizes the eager way she’s pressing the phone against her ear, the little thrill of a burgeoning mystery buzzing in her blood, and wonders if she even wants to.
“Yes,” she says. “I’ll accept the charges.”
There’s a click and a pause, and then—
“Heya, Nance.”
