Summary
1987 went to shit. Vecna brought on what may well be the apocalypse, and Steve fought it to the end. Literally.
Death was supposed to be a one-way street. But knowing a girl with super powers had a tendency to change the game. So when Steve opens his eyes to a beer-soaked bathroom on Halloween in 1984, Nancy calling him 'bullshit' all over again, the universe might forgive Steve for thinking he was either a) in Hell or b) going cracked. But Steve didn't have time to freakout. Not when El finds him and asks that he help her change the events of the future. Not when he's the only other person she managed to drag with her for chance number two.
OR: A time travel fix-it, where 1987 Steve is dropped back into his 1984 self. And now he has to deal with that plus the impending apocalypse on the horizon. But he'll be fine, right? Because, as El informs whoever asks, Steve's 'The Babysitter'. So he gets to work. He can cry later, when he's done.

What would’ve happened if Gon was not only a girl, but also raised by Kite and Ging, and occasionally Zoldyck family and the Genei Ryodan | Phantom Troupe— and of course Ging’s OG friends— because somehow Ging not only took the Hunter’s Exam with not only Silva Zoldyck, but also Nobunaga Hazama, Feitan Portor, and Uvogin.
What if much like Gon, Ging’s best friend was a mass-murdering-assassin-criminal, and much like his daughter, Ging "doesn't care about what is good or the bad" when he is curious or amazed.
What if because of Ging, Silva realized it was his wife, Kikyo, who was the one ripping apart the once close net Zoldyck family?
What if Silva was Gon’s godfather?
What if Gon and Killua grew up knowing each other?
What if Gon didn’t know who Aunt Mito and great-grandmother Abe was?
What if all this all became because Ging actually raised his daughter, taking her on his adventures, and yes that even means to the Dark Continent.
(I just wanted to write a story where Gon was one of the girls of four in a family of very, very extremely scarily powerful men)
