A wave of confidence washes over to Matthew, now he’s standing tall with his chin up. Clearing his throat, he attempts to say it with a coherent voice, but his words come out as a whisper, “Do it again.”
Jiwoong’s shoulder raise, his whole body frozen in that position. Is there something wrong with his ears? Should he get that checked out? Because it can’t be… No, he did not hear Matthew request for another kiss. That was a ghost of his remaining hope for an emergent relationship with the boy he’s been yearning for months.
However, attraction doesn’t happen like that, does it?

If he was quiet, if he was quick– would it really matter? All he had to do was just not wake Jiwoong, and that was easy enough. He thinks he remembered him being a heavy sleeper. Thinks, at least.

So, when Matthew choked on his own breath watching Jiwoong walk out and onto the set, that was just another small hiccup, one of thousands that was just glanced over. It wasn’t worth prying into, thank fucking God, because Matthew is a terrible liar and the PDs are very good at the job. They would’ve gotten the truth out of him, soon enough, and Matthew’s entire career would’ve been down the drain because he had illicit sexual relations with another contestant before the show even started.

gyuvin comes into the tiny cafe with an entire wall filled with syrups every monday, wednesday, and friday to grab a medium mango matcha latte with extra ice and soy milk. ricky, who only applied to this job because he was immediately entranced by the magical, color-coded syrup wall, happily takes his order, always asking for his name at the end only to write whatever the hell he wants on the cup.
