The idle conversation in the living room of Ajax's household halts at once. Wide, blue eyes turn to face their esteemed guest. The golden traveller has snapped at the head of the family, risen from his seat. His fists are curled on his sides.
"Apologies for my rudeness, sir. You and your family have been the most kind. However, I don't agree with you." With those words, Aether storms out of the house.
Ajax holds a hand out to stop Paimon and nods to his parents and siblings. "I'll go after him. It's dangerous at night here, so it's best for you to hang tight. If you'll excuse me."
Leaving the guilty and embarrassed looks of his family behind, Ajax follows suit.
