Teen slasher AU with the Homestuck alpha and beta kids. You could say this work is inspired by Until Dawn, but honestly, it is inspired by any teen slasher (Halloween, scream, cabin in the woods, etc). I promise it is not just a copy of Until Dawn. I don't want to say too much because I don't want to spoil anything.

Summary
Danny Fenton remembered when his life was normal. Or at least as normal as it could have been living with two psychotic ghost-hunting parents. He remembered when all he had to worry about was his physics test and why Newton had to invent that damn subject in the first place. But now, staring into the face of the thing his parents had so warned him about his entire life, he's beginning to doubt just how psychotic they are. That, or he's finally managed to fall down the rabbit hole with them.

This fic is my rewrite of the Danny Phantom story, as if I were a cooler, sexier Butch Hartman. It's going to follow the basic plot of the show (loosely) but I'm taking a lot of creative liberty. There are going to be elements of horror, my thought rewatching this show now as an adult is "why is this show about a boy who can turn into a ghost and fights ghosts not horror" (yeah I know it's a kids show) so I'm making it horror. This is going to be part 1, the origins of Danny Phantom. I plan on writing multiple parts and they will most likely be separate works.

Summary
I read "Better the Devil You Know" by Amyrlin and I love the concept a lot, so I wanted to take my own creative spin on it (and it was also never finished and it makes me very sad.) The beginning is very similar to their work so I apologize but it gets different afterwards. If you haven't read it before where have you been.
The story is demon Dave x demon hunter John.
