She might even be able to help the drow reintroduce himself to his lost lover, hopefully without having a dagger pressed against his throat this time.

This is a test run of a story that is mostly planned out, but not yet written. It does not specifically feature Astarion as a main character, but more so as a main topic. This oneshot is intended as a sneak peak into the story of Syridas - a drow arcane rogue with no memories of his past, only a strong feeling of familiarity and regret that sweeps over him every time the pale elf looks his way...
