Summary
Recently, Megumi seemed adamant about only hanging out at Yuji's flat. Each time Yuji so much as mentioned the idea of dropping by his best friend's house, he was quickly met with a slurry of mumbled reasons as to why Megumi couldn't have any guests over. It was evident something wasn't quite right, Yuji just couldn't quite understand what that had to do with Megumi's reluctance to welcome him into his home. Was it something he had said? Had Yuji been unintentionally rude the last time he had visited? Whilst he admitted that perhaps he had overstepped some unspoken boundary when commenting on Megumi's newly appointed stepmother, surely Megumi hadn't taken that so close to heart.
Yuji was desperate to see you again. The gentle curve of your smile, the subtle flounce in your hair, even the delicate waft of floral perfume you always wore; everything about you was so soft. It was as though each delicate, gorgeous, soft part of you had been intentionally created to lure Yuji into a fathomless adoration.

Summary
After finishing his time at Jujutsu Tech, Megumi had little choice other than to move back home with his somewhat unconventional father. Although his relationship with his dad was far from close, Megumi was left with few accommodation options post academia. After all, the work of a trainee jujutsu sorcerer was hardly well paid. He could cope with his dad’s sudden outbursts and unsociable attitude, but one thing Megumi hadn’t accounted for was the prospect of his father getting married.
Of course he felt a little hurt. Megumi had been away at school for three years, and for his dad to do something so drastic without informing him stung. They had never been close, but surely this was something any father and son should discuss? Perhaps the situation would have been easier for Megumi to digest if it weren't for the fact that Toji's new wife was hot as fuck.
In which Megumi has some serious mommy issues to overcome.
