He opens his mouth to say something but nothing comes out, and Mu Qing begins stroking a hand down his back.
“Speechless already? That isn’t like you, Your Highness. What will the effect be when the both of us are…” His words intentionally trail off.
Xie Lian swallows.
Feng Xin dips his head and presses a chaste kiss to his chin then murmurs, “Ignore him; I always do. But, Your Highness, if you’d like, we can… continue?”
Xie Lian had been so lost in these new touches that he’d nearly forgotten there was more to this event. He sucks in a sharp breath and glances up at Feng Xin. His eyes are warm and dark, but the thirst is undeniable. If he were to turn around, he’s certain it would be easy enough to spot in Mu Qing as well. Certainly, it’s also present in him—in the very pit of his stomach, slowly unfurling its fingers to squeeze at his lungs.
“Yes. I want it,” he whimpers.
