    “And I told you,” Jouno complains, breaking the silence. “No strange food combinations in my kitchen.”

    Tecchou cocks his head in confusion, looking between him and the liquorice. “But it's not strange.”

    “Oh, really?” Jouno bites back, sarcasm lacing his words, “Then why do I smell chilli and liquorice?”

    “Because I’m melting liquorice to put it on the chilli.”

All purely platonic, and they understood that– Teruko simply liked giving away candy on Valentine’s day, and now all the Hunting Dogs had made sure to get something for her in turn as well.
