Summary
“Yer not—” ‘Hikaru’ trails off, his arms hanging limply by his sides. As close as he is, Yoshiki can feel the way his fingers twitch, craving to reach out. “You don’t hate me?” ‘Hikaru tries again, his voice tight.
“Never,” Yoshiki responds with such conviction that it will surely break through to the fragile frame in his arms.

“When you know some things about Wakasa, you can tell me all about him,” Benkei responds definitively. “And I can tell you about Benkei, since you clearly know nothing about him either.”
“This sounds like a proposal to be friends,” Wakasa chuckles weakly. His hand brushes the packaging from the chocorooms, an unfamiliar gratitude filling his chest. He engulfs it in his palm and swallows it into his fist.
Benkei’s eyes are glued to the motorcycles again, and Wakasa would think he didn’t hear him if not for the small quirk of his lips.
“If it’s any easier for you to stomach, then we’ll call it a truce.”
OR:
When Wakasa and Benkei first meet, the two can't stand each other. Wakasa is certain they're fated to hate each other.
