She wasn’t perfect.
All the time I knew Rhaenyra, I put her on a pedestal, believing she was something more than she actually was. She was my unattainable personal goddess. She was my everything — she still is — but before all of this happened, I wouldn’t have believed for a second that Rhaenyra had a single bad bone in her body. But now I knew that I had painted a picture of her in my mind that she could never live up to. I thought everything she did was perfect — the way she looked at me, the way she made me laugh, the way she loved me more than anyone else... but now I realize that was just the Rhaenyra in my head.
