That said, everything that happens here is just a work of my imagination and not true to the actual story.I'd like to mention that this is upper YA, meaning that it's not completely clean; foul language, and explicit scenes are both present.
I'd rate the level of romance in this novella to be a little less than it was in Believe Me.Have fun reading!

Before Patroclus can find the bank Achilles has disappeared beneath the surface once again. Impossible to detect despite the clarity of the lake. Any glint of teal and flaxen might be the sun on the ripples... if Elysium had a sun.
A webbed hand shoots out of the water and grabs Patroclus by the ankle and tugs hard, upsetting his balance and sending him down to the ground.

While walking through the woods, Yuuji stumbles upon a stunning creature in need of aid.
Yuuji can barely breathe as the most beautiful creature he’s ever seen collapses onto the leaves. Thick patches of dark scales glitter where they lance down the creature’s spine and along its shoulder blades. Black hair adorns its head in sharp spikes and trails down to meet the dark scales, broken by a thick ring of gold around its neck. Its skin is so pale it glows in the dimming evening sun, brighter than the gold adorning its ears, wrists, biceps, and ankles. It looks up, gaze imploring, pale face flushed red and emerald eyes glazed over as it pants open mouthed, needle sharp teeth on display.
