The tranquilly of his little quiet bubble is interrupted when the door opens a little too early to be the security guard making rounds. Taehyung’s gaze flickers up for just a second but then his fingers pause on his keyboard and he lifts his eyes to stare.
It’s Park Jimin, much to Taehyung’s dismay. The last thing he wants is Jimin’s attention, but considering they’re the only two on this floor, it doesn’t really surprise Taehyung when a chair across from him pulls out and spins. Jimin takes a seat and folds his arms on the back of the chair with a smirk.
“Taetae.” He says, leaning forward some so the chair creaks, “Look at you, good boy doing all his work. Isn’t it past your bedtime, babe?”

Jimin Park is an ordinary Defence Against the Dark Arts professor with a rebellious slytherin thirteen-year-old on his hands who just sent another boy to the infirmary by gifting him a poisonous plant, and Taehyung Kim is a recluse metamorphmagus with a rare gift for Herbology whose guilty nephew has just appeared in his living room chimney with his teacher.
The two men’s meeting proves to lead to more than either of them bargained for, when what was supposed to be a quick visit turns into a half-week stay (because Taehyung always forgets to stock up on Floo powder) filled with copious amounts of inner turmoil (because Jimin can’t help but fall for him, despite the fact that Taehyung is his dead ex-girlfriend’s twin brother).
