Enjolras crouched down behind the counter so fast he almost hit his chin on the countertop. Musichetta stopped short to stare down at him in a mixture of surprise and concern.
“What are you doing?”
Enjolras gritted his teeth. “What is he doing here?”
Musichetta continued to stare at him before she slowly crouched down beside him, reaching out to touch his forehead. He just swatted her away, but clarified himself when she saw her confusion.
“The guy in the hoodie. That’s… That’s Justine’s dad” Enjolras murmured. “Well, biological father… Or you know, gene contributor”
“Is Grantaire your baby-daddy?” Musichetta’s eyes were almost comically wide and Enjolras might have been amused by how shaken she looked if he had found anything about the situation to be even mildly amusing.Or, Enjolras gets drunk at Jehan's birthday party and ends up following Jehan's artist friend home. Eleven months later they meet again...
