Fushiguro jolts, his mind unhelpfully supplying the image of his jade hounds nuzzled against both sides of Itadori, licking and pawing at him. He sighs heavily. “Tell me about it.”

“What?” Denki asks, pouting playfully. “Did it not rock your world?” he asks, and he’s unable to keep his smugness out of his tone for this one. He knows it’s god awful, that’s what makes it awesome.
Hitoshi actually smiles at that one; probably because it was that terrible, not because it was actually good. Denki’s insides melt at the picture. Hitoshi didn’t smile all too often, but his smiles were so soft. His eyes squint ever so slightly when he smiles, but perhaps that’s what makes it such a genuine expression in Denki’s eyes.
He’s seen a lot of fake, plastered smiles in his life.
Hitoshi leans forward on the counter, asking, “Do you always say puns? Do they ever actually work?” The electric blond shrugs casually, trying not to expose just how giddy he was.
“If the person isn’t jaded.”
Hitoshi huffs out a soft laugh at that one, Denki internally celebrating. This was good, he was being sauve, funny. He was a cool bean right now, keeping the beans so cool, subzero beans currently.

Denki loves rocks, and the guy working at the new rock shop has the most beautiful amethyst eyes.
