Returning cars didn’t tend to clatter either.

Will's home alone at the cabin, pondering his options for the night (mostly involving his right hand), when his drunken best friend arrives with a clatter, very much the worse for wear in every sense. He's going to need comfort, conversation, company and care - but might just offer up a teeny weeny life changing confession along the way?

His heart was pounding. “Look, you can tell me to get lost if you want – birthday boy gets final say, we’ve established that – but also, what happens in the Seven Minutes closet stays in the Seven Minutes closet, remember?” Will was breathing hard now, watching him warily, as if he was no longer his nerdy friend of just about forever, but some kind of predator: a big cat perhaps, one that might purr at him but might equally just claw him to death right here, surrounded by blankets and spare pillowcases.'
It's Will's 18th birthday. They've watched movies, eaten cake - and now Max engineers a spirited game of Seven Minutes in Heaven (well, the Wheelers' linen closet) to round out their evening. Friends kissing friends is no big deal, right? Byler focused, with a bunch of other pairings, kisses and conversations on the side. :)
