This is a modern lesbian cezhou fic taking place in a law office in Qudu where Shen Zechuan was laid off because of a controversy involving her father, Shen Wei. 5 years later, Li Jianheng is the new CEO of this corporation and Hua Hewei pulls some strings to get Shen Zechuan a small role at the office. This fic takes place after Shen Zechuan solves a case with Xiao Chiye, who is a lawyer, and receives a promotion. Basically a modern parallel to the part in volume 2 where Shen Zechuan saves Li Jianheng from the assassination attempt and gets promoted, but if he was working with Xiao Chiye (and if they were women).
