Buck should’ve never made the playlist in the first place, he knows that. It was a stupid thing to do because with how often they give each other their phones, Eddie was bound to see it eventually and start asking questions.
But Buck was drunk when he made it - wallowing in self-pity about how the man he loves will never love him back. He’s just grateful his drunk self had the sense to not actually title the playlist ‘Eddie.’
“Who’s ‘E’?” Eddie asks from where he’s sitting on the couch, scrolling through Buck’s Spotify account because Buck stupidly told him to put on some music and forgot about the goddamned playlist.
Buck freezes in his movements as his eyes meet Eddie’s, opened wide.
“Um,” he says stupidly, gaping. “No one.”
Eddie narrows his eyes at him in suspicion and pouts slightly, the way he always does when he doesn’t believe something somebody is telling him.
“You’re a terrible liar, Buck,” he states. “Why didn’t you tell me you were dating someone?”

Oscar’s world tilted as Lando’s words hung in the air, sweet and devastating all at once. But before he could say anything—before he could even process what had just happened—Lando’s slumped against him, passed out cold.
Oscar sat there, frozen, staring down at the boy who had just wrecked his entire world and fixed it all at once.
