"You could go to the Creel Museum?" She offered, pointing to a rack that boasted things to do in Indiana. Most of the excursions were much farther than Eddie wanted to drive but he was surprised he'd never noticed the very cool cover of the brochure in question.
The front cover was emblazoned with a black and white photograph of a beautiful Victorian house but below it, rather than a sprawling front yard, the house was flipped upside down like a reflection that was decayed, rundown, and covered in thick, black vines. This part of it was obviously not photographed but hand drawn for the advertised Creel Museum and below it, in smaller script, Presented by the Hawkins Paranormal Society.
"Metal." He muttered, unfolding it to read more.
Hawkins, Indiana, he learned as he skimmed it, had a museum of some sort of cryptid creature, The Demogorgon, named after a D&D monster and tied to a huge government conspiracy that nearly destroyed the town in the 70s and 80s.
Bad. Ass.
Suddenly, Valentine's day was just another day and Eddie was excited to check out a museum of a fake cryptid monster even if ninety percent of it was just drunks who saw a bear in the woods or something.

Summary
