Summary
After the cheering died down, the lights shining on the stage dimmed as the music was turned up. Several heartbeats passed until the lights were turned on once again, shining abruptly, revealing a handful of dancers on the stage, all waving to the crowd and taking claim of where they'd like to stand.
And that's when Max saw him. And his heart practically stopped beating.
The man, standing in the middle and closest to the front, was Carlos. Carlos Sainz Jr. Formula One racer. A man Max knows well.
His eyes widened as he blinked furiously- maybe the lack of sleep was getting to him, because there was no way that would be him.
Holy shit. Carlos Sainz is a stripper.
