Summary
The four-by-four heaves its way down long, twisting lanes, little more than dirt tracks scuffed into the surrounding fields and hemmed in by serpentine walls of flat, grey stone. They truly are in the middle of nowhere: the countryside rushes past, all rolling green hills and vast, endless skies, and it's odious. Sirius wants to murder James with his bare hands.
Sirius and James accidentally find themselves on a Yorkshire farm during lambing season. The farmer’s son thinks that’s a bit annoying, actually.

Every one of the Marauders was terrible. Sirius and James, the self-obsessed ring leaders. Peter, who practically wet himself every time the duo so much as glanced in his direction. But the absolute worst was Lupin. He had everyone fooled, the professors wrapped around his little finger, falling for his frail act. Lupin got to have tea in the library, despite the blanket ban on food & drink for everyone else. He skipped class without repercussion because he was on a first name basis with Madam Pomfrey. He was even made bloody prefect, a role he only used to let his friends off the hook and help them sneak around after curfew. He had his humble and shy act down to a science, and everyone ate it up.
Regulus knew better.
