Summary
AU within Arcane universe. Sevika is tasked to kidnap Mel for ransom-- in exchange for Piltover’s most valuable, prized asset, they will, in turn, recognize Zaun as an independent state. Despite their class and cultural differences, the two women end up falling for one another and FUCKING. Maybe Mel is able to work out a deal between the two adversaries without plunging them into another bloody war. Maybe Sevika is able to collaborate with Piltover's most influential leader to finally bring peace to Zaun. All I know is that I am a god in this fanfiction and will utilizing my powers as I see fit.

ORIGINALLY CALLED: Tasting The Undercity
Update on status: Semi-Hiatus, posting irregularly, chapters are usually a few weeks in between because I've been insanely busy since I started writing this fic. I have also started writing a different fic with a friend so don't expect updates too often
After seeing her mother up to her old tricks and watching her poison Caitlyn Kiramman towards all out civil war, Mel takes matters into her own hands. She wants to help the people of Zaun and put an end to her mother's interference with Piltover and Zaun. She wanders into Zaun to figure out how to help its residents. This takes a turn as she's confronted head on with Zaun's problem of abuse, a Shimmer epidemic, and a not-so-friendly Zaunite. Luckily for her, Sevika's saves her skin before anything too bad happens. What ensues between the unlikely allies may well turn the tide of the war in the favour of Zaun.
Was supposed to be a smutty one shot until I realised people are actually reading it lmao. Might get renamed at some point cause the title doesn't really work anymore
Canon up to Season 2 Episode 2, Canon Divergent from there on. Events are probably going to be out of order
