Summary
“Seriously,” he says, quieter now, “talk to me.”
Talk to him.
Tell him everything.
Tell him he’s the reason I check my phone even when it hasn’t buzzed.
Tell him his voice in the morning is my favourite sound.
Tell him the way he looks at me makes me feel like I’m falling—slow, steady, unstoppable.Tell him I’d let myself hit the ground if it meant landing in him.

Summary
A sigh severed the quietness. “Do you want kids?” Eddie asked curiously, though already assuming the answer.
“Yeah. I mean, of course, I do picture myself having a family,” Buck paused before continuing, “Even if it’s not in the cards, though, I’ll always have one kid,” he admitted, wearing the sweetest smile Eddie had ever seen, like teeth rottenly sweet. It made his heart skip a beat because Buck was talking about Christopher. He’d forever be Chris’s family, obviously, so why was it setting Eddie’s skin ablaze thinking about it?-or-
Eddie is having multiple realizations; he needs Christopher to come home, and he likes men, more specifically, one man.

Summary
Buck coughed back to consciousness, choking on the dust and debris that hung thick in the air. The motion jarred his right side; the side he was laying on, the side he’d landed on, and even as the winded pain forced him to curl in on himself until the coughs subsided, the only thought on his mind was Eddie.
